Kenya Airways boosts regional services

National flag carrier Kenya Airways announced today that it was boosting its domestic and short haul regional services with an additional aircraft, a Boeing 737-300.



The equipment registered as 5Y-KYM has been leased from KLM. It will initially be used primarily to boost the services on the Nairobi-Mombasa route.

Kenya Airways to acquire more aircraft

Growing passenger and cargo demand and a rapidly expanding route network is set to benefit from more capacity as Kenya Airways readies itself to add more aircraft to its fleet.

World Bank Approves US$100 Million Credit for Kenya’s Health Sector

he World Bank has approved a US$100 million credit for Kenya to improve the delivery of essential health services to its people, especially the poor.



The Kenya Health Sector Support Project, approved by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today, will support the Kenya government’s efforts to strengthen basic health services and enhance the planning, financing and procurement of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
